Outboard Recording Equipment at Sonicworld
The signal path for recording at Sonicworld is second to none! Track using selection of high end mic’s (Neuman, Coles and more..) run into world class Mic Pre’s and AD conversion from Crane Song (designed by Dave Hill) and then enter the world of ProTools HD where you will find plugins from SSL and Sony Oxford to name a few. Of course no studio would be complete with out the best cables too . . we use Van Damme Studio Grade throughout.
Despite being small the studio is extremely versatile due to a combination of select outboard equipment and the power of ProTools HD. The system is capable of recording 64 simultaneous tracks of pristine he definition 96kh audio and playback of 128 simultaneous tracks at the same definition.
